Andreja Kargačin (15. 7. 1999) is a performance, theatre and antidisciplinary artist, poet and writer, from Novi Sad, Serbia. She has a background in ballet and contemporary dance and is studying theatre directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade. She is informally educated in performance art under the mentorships of AbramoviΔ‡ institute, VestAndPage, La Pocha Nostra.

Originating from a multicultural, complex and paradoxical part of the Balkans shaped her love for the gray area between past and present, false and true and real and surreal.

She has a special interest in personal and collective history and hysteria, radical utopism and the body as a mediator between the obsessions of the past/compulsions of power, and the role of the artist in shaping the struggle of today and the possibility of future. Her work exists in the gap between her socialist values and the bourgeoisie life of an artist, as well as the gap between the Balkan and European context.

She currently lives and works in Belgrade.

Since 2022. she is a part of Shock Cooperative (Novi Sad)
