WHY. Can anybody help me with suggestions on making the A liner roof easy to raise. We had a Avan WA club workshop over this weekend and changed the springs on one of our solo members Aliner. Bit late, but having had an A'Van Camper Trailer (A shape) and a Jayco pop top I found that both had some initial teething problems (quality control issues) however Jayco wins on the repair/warrant issues hands down and is known for being one of the best in Oz even making good on things after expiry of the warranty for me and I have heard others say that too.You can ask other Jayco owners by going to the Jayco Website www.jayco.com.au (put in au or you'll get the US website) and look up Travel Diary under owners info. One thing I like with having the roof down for travel, is the door cannot open and swing out as the roof slides over the top of the door, better security too if the roof is padlocked at the locking points.
